Are you a detail-driven Accounts Payable pro ready to hit the ground running?

Adaptable Recruitment are working with a growing business in Warrington, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team.

What you'll be doing:

• Handling high volumes of invoices, from receipt through to posting and payment.
• Ensuring invoices are matched to purchase orders and coded correctly to the general ledger.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice or payment-related queries.
• Preparing and processing regular supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reviewing and processing employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policy.
• Assisting with month-end close tasks, including AP ledger maintenance and reporting.

Ideal Candidate;

• Strong AP experience in a fast-paced environment.
• A sharp eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Great communication and a can-do attitude.
• Availability to start ASAP on a temporary basis.
