This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career within finance. The role would suit an experienced office administrator, a recent graduate looking to gain practical finance experience, or an AAT studier seeking a supportive environment to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming payments and ensure accurate allocation to customer accounts
• Carry out regular reconciliations of bank and client accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and assist in resolving payment queries
• Support month-end processes by preparing data, reports, and documentation for review
• Maintain accurate records within the accounting system, ensuring transactions are entered correctly
• Handle general finance and administrative queries promptly via email and telephone
• Provide broader administrative support across the finance function when required

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well within a team environment
• Ideal for candidates with some office experience, recent graduates, or AAT studiers seeking to develop a finance career
