Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied generalist role within a growing, fast-paced business? Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Advisor to join their team and play a key role in supporting employees and managers across multiple sites.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you'll be involved in the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, performance management, and policy compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and making a real impact within a dynamic organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
As the HR Advisor, you'll provide practical, commercially focused HR support, including:
- Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Managing recruitment campaigns from vacancy creation through to offer stage.
- Coordinating onboarding and induction activities for new starters.
- Supporting employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and capability matters.
- Assisting with performance review processes and development initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate HR records, systems, and employee data.
- Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture-focused initiatives.
- Assisting with health and safety coordination across the business.
- Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident and adaptable HR professional who thrives in a busy environment and can balance a varied workload.
Essential Experience
- Previous HR Advisory experience within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting or managing employee relations cases.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Positive, proactive approach with a genuine passion for people.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent).
