Customer Service Advisor

- Full-time | Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

We're supporting a well-established transport and logistics business in recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy operations team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth coordination between customers and the planning team.
What you will be doing:
- Creating and updating transport jobs accurately within internal systems
- Managing failed load reports and supporting rebooking of deliveries
- Monitoring and organising the team inbox, ensuring queries are directed efficiently
- Communicating with customers via phone and email, providing timely updates
- Coordinating late deliveries and keeping customers informed
- Checking daily job completion and ensuring all records are accurate
- Supporting planners with building efficient and cost-effective loads
- Updating customer portals with live job information
- Investigating and resolving customer or operational queries
- Maintaining daily reports, including demurrage tracking
What we are looking for:
- Experience within a transport, logistics, or administration-based role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Proactive, organised, and able to work on your own initiative
