Senior Property Pension Administrator

Liverpool City Centre | Up to £32,000 DOE and Negotiable | Hybrid Working

Are you experienced in pensions administration and enjoy managing more complex cases? This could be a great opportunity to join a growing and supportive team specialising in commercial property within pension schemes.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to manage a portfolio of commercial property cases linked to pension arrangements. This role would suit someone who enjoys technical work, problem solving and building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

You will be joining a collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, develop your technical knowledge and work on a wide variety of interesting property transactions.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing commercial property cases within pension arrangements from start to finish, ensuring everything is completed accurately and in line with regulations.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial property pension cases
  • Handling property purchases and sales from start to finish
  • Liaising with solicitors, lenders, surveyors and managing agents
  • Reviewing leases, contracts, rent schedules and property documents
  • Monitoring rent payments and property-related records
  • Ensuring all pension and property records are accurate and compliant
  • Supporting with more complex investments and lending arrangements
  • Identifying and resolving technical or compliance issues
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members
  • Supporting process improvements and sharing knowledge within the team

What they're looking for

  • At least 4 years' experience within pensions administration
  • Experience dealing with commercial property within pension arrangements
  • Strong understanding of pension regulations and compliance
  • Confident managing complex casework
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff would be beneficial

Desirable

  • Professional pensions or financial services qualifications (or working towards them)
  • Experience dealing with VAT-registered property
  • Understanding of trustee responsibilities and governance
