Salary: up to £26,000- Depending on experience.
Location: Huyton
Working: Full-time | Office-based | FTC | 37.5 hours per week

Administrator (6-Month Contract, Potential to Go Permanent)

Main Responsibilities to Include:

  • Provide daily administrative support to both the Health & Safety and HR teams
  • Order office supplies, PPE, training materials and other business essentials
  • Maintain training records and compliance documentation
  • Book employees onto courses and liaise with external training providers
  • Support onboarding, including completing new starter checks
  • Assist with RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) updates and coordination
  • Keep systems, spreadsheets and records accurate and up to date
  • Answer incoming calls and manage shared inboxes professionally
  • Respond to internal and external queries via phone and email
  • Support general office coordination and ad hoc administrative tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organisation and coordination abilities
  • Confident communicator with good customer service skills
  • Personable, approachable and comfortable interacting at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proactive and able to work using initiative
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Reliable, professional and able to handle confidential information

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Experience supporting HR or Health & Safety teams is desirable but not essential
  • Exposure to training records, onboarding or compliance admin is beneficial
  • Experience dealing with customers or internal stakeholders
  • Background in a coordination-focused role (not purely data entry/customer service)
